Travel to China : Bao Mo Garden in Panyu, Guangzhou, China

BAO MO  is a lovely and charming huge garden, in Guangzhou, China. I really don't understand why it was not listed at top 10 tourist attraction in Guangzhou, China. I have been living 6 years in Dongguan, China and  only after 3 years i get to know this place. It was like a gem to me. It take about an hour travel from Dongguan and 20 Min's from Guangzhou. Again, all depend on traffic.

This park is build since Qing Dynasty and re-renovated in 1995 and it cover 5000 square meters. The architecture is exquisite and magnificent. You may take slow walk and enjoy the beautiful atmosphere, charming trees, engraved pillars, water everywhere you go and etc. There are plenty of place to sit and with a few Cantonese restaurants. If you prefer light lunch, bring your own snack or sandwiches. They don't sell light snack here.

 

 

There is a place where all kids love it. The place where they can caught fish and you are allow to bring back the fish.  It is call The Bamboo Garden (Children’s corner). I saw many adults also try their luck with hand fishing, that including me. They can either paddle through the swift flowing water and have fun or try out their hands at fishing.- The Bao Mo Garden is a little treasure cove with beauty scattered in every nook and corner of the garden.

 

If this is your first time travel to China, i strongly recommend this place. The best time to visit is end of the year, around Oct and November. Imagine the Autumn wind at beautiful scenery of the south.   Winter don't come so early in Guangzhou, so no worries. Wear a light jacket.

 

 

 

My personally view, it is like a fairy tales, where all the fairy live.

 

 

 

Evergreen Resort in Shenzhen (Tree House) , China

This resort is awesome. We have a good time spending a night there. This place is also known as Evergreen Resort located at Nansha, Southern Part of China. From Shenzhen Louhu, it will take about 30 minutes if the traffic is good. Shenzhen traffic is very unexpected. If from Shekou Quay it only take 10 mins by taxi. I came from Nancheng, Dongguan and take us about an hour. In China, 1 hour is not far and trust me this place is worth it.

There are 4 types accommodation, tree house, cabin, villa and hotel. Of course we choose the tree house and that is the reason we were there. Oh, and tree house is the cheapest (RMB280), hotel (RMB660) and Cabin (RMB960). This price inclusive the Dinosaur Park ticket. By the way, you need to do some climbing. Don't worry, they have man made stone stairs lead you all the way to your tree house.

Tree house come with a very simple room facilities. Again, don't worry, they have washroom in the room. A tatami sofa bed and TV. When you wake up in the morning, you feel so fresh with birds chipping and you go and experience it yourself.

There is a BBQ area with a lovely view. A man made waterfall just right beside the BBQ area. There is a staff that will light up the fire, and set up the table and chairs. All you need to do is to bring your BBQ food and stuff. They don't allow night BBQ, or else it will be awesome.

Beside all the standard hotel facilities (swimming pool, gym, small library, pool and ping pong table for a charge, you can try the hiking.

Other than this, below are all very interesting and unique place at the resort. Don't miss it.

The Dinosaur Park, which they call it the Jurassic Park and RAINFOREST'S. Must visit this fascinating place. There is a rainbow bridge which they will provide you with an umbrella. Here you will face the dinosaur close up.

Butterfly Farm, not big but there are still butterflies around. Try the forest playground, again interesting. There are log train, rolling log barrel, cross bridge, and etc. We play like kids but oh really nice.
