Avillion Admiral Cove Hotel, Port Dickson, Malaysia

Avillion Admiral Cove, Port DIckson, Malaysia

Avillion Admiral Cove Hotel is a relaxing resort over looking the Straits of Malacca. It is located at Port Dickson beach at Negeri Sembilan. Driving from Kuala Lumpurt City to Port Dickson is about an hour drive.

In fact there are many hotel and resorts at Port Dickson but we decided on Avillion Admiral Cove due to the reviews by visitors. We did not make the wrong decision and it was really value for the money. The room is spacious with a comfortable king size bed and a day bed. In fact there are sliding doors separating bedroom and the living room. This will give you maximum privacy or i personally think if you are at the lower floor, and if it is too noisy, you can slide the door close. They even have a cute ceiling fan above the bed. Not because they do not have air con but it  is just another option for guess. The air con is cold enough. You can also open the balcony for the fresh air.

There is a kitchen style sink which was convenient for families with kids. If you have kids, you will know what i meant.

Photo below: my kids are waiting for our keys at the lobby.

The pool area is beautiful. The kids just love it. Beside the pool, you can have a great view of the marina and yatch.

This hotel has a private beach, which is a plus. My kids enjoy building sand castle. Beside this there are other activities such as archery, banana boat, jet skis, bicycle ride and etc.

As for the breakfast, the is reasonable. Not much of choice but acceptable. We have our diner at one of the sea food restaurant 3 Min's from the hotel. It was good.

Overall, worth to visit for a short escape.

Pulai Spring Resort, Johor Bahru, Malaysia

Pulai Spring Resort, Malaysia

Pulai Spring Resort is located near to University Technology Malaysia (UTM). This is a golf resort, hence for golf lover, this will be an idea place for golfing and your family is able to enjoy the facilities at the resort.
Pulai Spring Resort, Malaysia

This hotel has 2 fascinating swimming pools. My kids love this resort so much due to the swimming pool. The swimming pool located near the restaurant serving the breakfast, is the best for us. We parent enjoying our breakfast while our kids playing at the pool. We can choose to sit at the table right beside the pool, so we can watch over our kids.

The bigger swimming pool is located at the health and game area. It is just opposite the reception. There is a big pool and a smaller one with slide. Kids love the water slide especially when there are lots of kids playing together. They have a jacuzzi too, but i think it is not working. You can view the golf cost from both the swimming pool. Very relaxing calming.

The room were nice. The first time we stay at this resort, we were upgraded to a suite room. Good size for family. Kids playing hide and seek in the room. Unfortunately the second time, we stayed here, we were not upgrade. But the room still look good. Quite spaces with kitchen facilities. A sofa set separating from the room.

There are many other facilities but we do not have time to enjoy it, including Facilities for the Physically Challenged.

Here they serve full breakfast from nasi lemak to pastry. We did not try dinner at the resort but i heard it is good as well.

In short, if you have plan to visit Johor Bahru and if you are not in a rush, do consider this resort.

Legoland, Malaysia

Legoland, Malaysia

Legoland was advertise quite regularly in Malaysia, that is why my kids keep asking us to bring them there. We manage to arrive around 11am. The sun already above our head welcoming us. It was really a hot and sunny day. Remember to wear a cap and apply some sun location. This was our past experience when we visit Dinesyland in Hong Kong, all of us got sick the next day.

Legoland, Malaysia
Legoland Malaysia is located at Nusajaya, Johor. It is about 20 Min's from City Centre of Johor Bahru. I stayed at Pulai Spring Resort close to University Technology Malaysia, which about 30 mins to Legoland. Pulai Spring has 2 nice swimming pools.

As for the ticket you may get a cheap rate if you book early from their official website. Furthermore, there are quite a number of promotion with hotel package.
Legoland, Malaysia

There are plenty of car parks at Legoland. So no worried about the car park but the further you park, the further you have to walk. When you arrive, no matter how far you walk, you have no problem due to incitement. But after end of a tiring day, hehe... for you to walk back to your car...ah...100 meters is like 1000 meters far. Worst still, you got to carry your kids cause they are not going to walk further.
Legoland, Malaysia

There are stroller for rent after the entrance. My advise, do go for it, if you do not bring your own stroller. You can put your water bottle, or bags on it. The most important, if your kids is like mine, lazy to walk...stroller save you from all the tiring walking trip, especially the sunny hot day.

Legoland, Malaysia
Legoland, has about 40 interactive rides. My sons enjoy most of the rides under the hot sun. Well, the most enjoyable ride for us is at the Land Of Adventure. Four person in a car, with each laser blasting gun. 4 D movie, was also good.

As for food, there are lots of restaurant. One thing, that i feel lack off is place for visitors to sit with roft or shelter. Malaysia weather is hot most of the time, with lacking of shelter of us parents, i really do not wish to re-visit Legoland again. If you compare this with Disneyland, there are lots of rooms for Legoland to improve. Anyway, overall, kids still love it.

Malaysia : Mines Wellness Hotel Kuala Lumpur

Mines Wellness Hotel, Kuala Lumpur
Mines Wellness Hotel, is located at Sri Kembangan, Kuala Lumpur. This hotel is a resort kind of style. The lobby is quite big and my sons is so excited waiting for us to check in. The car park is just right opposite the hotel. No hassle.
Lobby Mines Wellness Hotel

Mines Shopping Centre is about 5 Min's walk going though the car park. Check with the security guard making sure you are going at the right way. We brought all our junk food, fruits and drinks there.

Man Made Beach

King Size BedView from Balcony

Our room is acceptable (not recommend for honeymoon couple). Furniture a little old but the rest is ok. Bear in mind, this is not a modern bedroom hotel. More to old Victorian room style. Nice view from our room (Lagoon view). The balcony is a plus. We love sitting there during the night and early morning.

Man Made Beach is nice. But due to the weather condition it was close. We only had about half an hour on the beach. At least there is a bathtub in the room or else I am sure they will stuck in the room watching i-pad. This hotel do not have a swimming pool only man made beach.

They have Qi Gong garden there (we don't see anyone practising there) only a green garden. We did not visit the wellness centre, but i think it is not big.

Overall, if a relaxing gateway, i still prefer Gold Cost Morib. If you prefers, resort that is close to shopping mall, go for this.
