Mines Shopping Centre is about 5 Min's walk going though the car park. Check with the security guard making sure you are going at the right way. We brought all our junk food, fruits and drinks there.
Our room is acceptable (not recommend for honeymoon couple). Furniture a little old but the rest is ok. Bear in mind, this is not a modern bedroom hotel. More to old Victorian room style. Nice view from our room (Lagoon view). The balcony is a plus. We love sitting there during the night and early morning. Man Made Beach is nice. But due to the weather condition it was close. We only had about half an hour on the beach. At least there is a bathtub in the room or else I am sure they will stuck in the room watching i-pad. This hotel do not have a swimming pool only man made beach.
They have Qi Gong garden there (we don't see anyone practising there) only a green garden. We did not visit the wellness centre, but i think it is not big.
Overall, if a relaxing gateway, i still prefer Gold Cost Morib. If you prefers, resort that is close to shopping mall, go for this.
