Dubai Airport

Dubai has two international airports, which many traveller may not notice. I do travel to Dubai several times a year and i did a mistake once.

Dubai main airport is Dubai International Airport (DBX) which located in about 10 mins from the city center. This is the airport i always travel as it is very convenience. It takes me about 10 mins to the hotel i used to stay in Bur Dubai. They have MRT with connected to the airport.

Terminal 3 is the terminal mainly use by Emerate Airline only. All the terminals has huge duty free shops with great service. They even have many staffs from China which will help lots of chinese travellers in Duty Free Shopping.

The other airport in Dubai is Al Maktoum International Airport which located at Jebel Ali, which is about 37 kms southwest of Dubai.

Farm In The City, Sri Kembangan, Malaysia.

Farm In The City

Farm In The City, Malaysia

Farm in the City is one of the coolest place in Sri Kembangan, which is close to Puchong an Putrajaya. This is more than just a farm. It is like animals living in a farm where visitors are allow to get close with the animals. You are also allow to feed and patting those animals. Kids just love it and so do us.

I visited this place twice and my last trip was with my parents and kids. My dad insisted not to go in cause it might be just an ordinary mini ZOO, but unexpectedly he love it so much an insist my sister to bring her kids there when she came to KL for holidays.

One good about this Farm In The City is there are lots of trees and you dont feel hot at all.

You are given some bird food to feed the birds. Everyone love this including the seniors.

If you live in the city, i think your kids or any kids, never or hardly have a chance to carry a chicken on their own hands.

Pony rides are free for 2 kids if you buy the family package. If not, you will have to buy an the ride ticket from the counter.

Satay King in Hong Kong

Satay King, Hong Kong
Satay King, Hong Kong

Stay King has several branches in Hong Kong and i used to visit this restaurant at Jordan MRT Station. I think it has already close down. Not sure of the reason but it used to be pack during the lunch time. I remember we have to queues for half and hour just to get a space. Anyway, it is common to queues for lunch in Hong Kong.

This is not a luxury restaurant but i personally think it is worth visit. They are using the Private of the Caribbean as their theme for the decoration. The on at the Jordan MRT Station is well decorated a=but what a pity i did not take the photos. Mong Kong branch is normally decorated.

Satay King, Hong Kong

I love the Satay vermicelli with pork slice. The satay sauce is thick and nice. Not too spicy and little sweet. The locals love the curry pork rice. I can see more than half of the customers is ordering this dishes. As for me after so many visit to this restaurant, i still stay with my satay vermicelli.

We did tried others but again, i still prefer satay vermicelli with pork or beef slice. Now they came out with boil eggs with very yellowish york. It is like similar to the one in Japan. I did tried it, emm... just okay.

Anyway, if you love curry or satay sauce, it is worth trying it.

Avillion Admiral Cove Hotel, Port Dickson, Malaysia

Avillion Admiral Cove, Port DIckson, Malaysia

Avillion Admiral Cove Hotel is a relaxing resort over looking the Straits of Malacca. It is located at Port Dickson beach at Negeri Sembilan. Driving from Kuala Lumpurt City to Port Dickson is about an hour drive.

In fact there are many hotel and resorts at Port Dickson but we decided on Avillion Admiral Cove due to the reviews by visitors. We did not make the wrong decision and it was really value for the money. The room is spacious with a comfortable king size bed and a day bed. In fact there are sliding doors separating bedroom and the living room. This will give you maximum privacy or i personally think if you are at the lower floor, and if it is too noisy, you can slide the door close. They even have a cute ceiling fan above the bed. Not because they do not have air con but it  is just another option for guess. The air con is cold enough. You can also open the balcony for the fresh air.

There is a kitchen style sink which was convenient for families with kids. If you have kids, you will know what i meant.

Photo below: my kids are waiting for our keys at the lobby.

The pool area is beautiful. The kids just love it. Beside the pool, you can have a great view of the marina and yatch.

This hotel has a private beach, which is a plus. My kids enjoy building sand castle. Beside this there are other activities such as archery, banana boat, jet skis, bicycle ride and etc.

As for the breakfast, the is reasonable. Not much of choice but acceptable. We have our diner at one of the sea food restaurant 3 Min's from the hotel. It was good.

Overall, worth to visit for a short escape.
